The other alternative is to leave from Tambomachay and trek until Lamay, passing through Huch´uy Qosqo, therefore this trek can be done in one day.

On the return we will trek on a well conserved Inka trail that connects Huch’uy Qosqo with Tambomachay. From here we will take our private transport back to Cusco.
HUCH’UY QOSQO:
It is found in the highest part of the Sacred Valley, without vehicular access and is not visited by many tourists. It consists of platforms, courtyards, plazas, buildings of different sizes and quality as well as a pedestrian Inkan path. There is evidence of an advanced hydraulic system where the water flowed through channels carved in stone, perfectly assembled together to prevent leakage of water. The construction has a slight inward inclination, which is guaranteed as better during earthquakes.
One of the most notable characteristics of this site is of its the assembly in stages, following the natural slope of the mountain; the result is of great aesthetic quality. Another feature is that buildings are built to form squares or patios, but not touching each other, so that there are also alleys or transit spaces between buildings.
